Ashley Thompson is a huge fan of France, and that’s not something that she has ever kept a secret. But today, we celebrated France’s loss at the Battle of Puebla. Aka, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo! The holiday may not be the biggest celebration south of the border, but in the U.S., it is rooted in Mexican cultural traditions.
We were by Matthew Tschetter, the Executive Director of Caminando Juntos, and Alex Ramirez, a member of the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta committee.
They were here to tell us more about this upcoming weekend’s Cinco de Mayo Falls Park Fiesta. And giving us a taste of what we may be able to find this weekend.
